Dr. Sen has completed his MBBS from R.G. Kar Medical College, Kolkata (1999), MS – General Surgery from IPGMER (2005), DNB – General Surgery (2006), MRCS – UK (2006) and DNB – Surgical Gastroenterology from CMRI Hospital, Kolkata (2010).

He has also completed MNAMS (2007), Fellowship in AMASI (2007), Fellowship in Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgery & Liver Transplantation – Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi (2007), Certification in Endohernia Surgery & Solid Organ Endo-surgery (2008) and FICS (2012).

Prior to joining Medica Superspecialty Hospital, he was associated with Fortis Hospitals, AMRI Group of Hospitals, Apollo Gleneagles, CMRI, Woodlands and Belle Vue Nursing Home, Kolkata and has an experience of more than 23 years.

Unique Surgical Achievement

Successfully performed one of the most unique surgeries in the world to remove a 20cm+ Colonic Tubular Type Mucinous Variant Duplication Cyst of the right colon in an elderly patient from Jharkhand.
